What we build
Nexus OMAS is a multi-agent system: sixteen coordinated AI agents that read documents, retrieve client context, check compliance requirements, and draft work product — with every answer traceable back to its source document. It is one platform, configured per industry, and it is already running in production:
- AdddZero (United Kingdom) — ESG and Health & Safety compliance platform for cold-storage and food-logistics operators, live at esg.adddzero.com.
- BalanceIQ — financial intelligence platform for the Chamber of Commerce of Larissa, Greece, including automated document validation for chamber operations.

Who’s behind it
Bytetect was founded by Sotirios (Sam) Tsartsaris, a software and AI engineer based in Thessaloniki. Before Bytetect, Sam served as CTO/AI engineer at SmartUp, where he led retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and embedding pipelines, computer-vision systems, and graph-database adoption for production products. He has been building full-stack systems — from IoT infrastructure to multi-agent AI platforms — for over two decades.
Sam writes about AI engineering at tsartsaris.gr and spoke at the Beyond 2025 conference on the panel “AI & SMEs: The Smart Path to Business Growth”, organized by SEKEE.

How we work
- Your cloud, your data. Nexus OMAS deploys inside your own cloud project. Client files, matters, and financial data never pass through Bytetect’s servers.
- GDPR by design. Role-based access control, ethical walls between clients, and audit trails are platform features, not add-ons.
- Insured work. Bytetect carries AIG CyberEdge professional/cyber liability coverage with a €100,000 limit.
- Transparent process. Fixed-scope packages with defined deliverables. You see what you’re buying before you commit.
